Happy New Year!
We wanted to start the year with a bang and share our latest updates and the journey we embarked on in 2023.
Last year had been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride in the Web 3.0 space, with many participants either exiting or pivoting to adapt to the volatile market conditions.
Here at Renovi HUB and Renovi Studios, we’ve spent the year diligently working on some light touch projects and our technology, preparing for what we hoped would be the end of the “crypto winter”.
Like many in our industry, we recognised the need for change and decided to explore other brand extensions through Renovi HUB, focusing on areas with the most potential.
After countless brainstorming sessions (complete with wacky ideas), whiteboard scribbles that looked more like modern art, and many cups of coffee later, we made a bold choice – Renovi HUB will become a fully-fledged in-game advertising platform. We are diving headfirst into the expanding Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 gaming markets, because we believe that’s where the magic is happening.
We firmly believe this is where it’s at. Our research revealed a growing interest from brands in these areas, and we saw an opportunity to be the bridge connecting brands with game studios effectively.
With the gaming sector boasting 3.2 billion active users worldwide and in-game market revenue reaching $8.5 billion in 2023 (expected to reach $11.6 billion in 2026), the potential for impactful advertising is immense. What’s more, we found that the market wasn’t oversaturated, allowing for the entry of more innovative players like us.
Whilst we are still working on various web3.0 design projects through our Renovi Studios business, we also want to grab this new opportunity with both hands.
Bang, bang, bang
Now, drumroll, please… We’re delighted to announce that the first version of our new platform, Renovi HUB, is LIVE! 🚀 This launch marks a pivotal moment in our journey, and we are eager to see the positive impact it will have on both the advertising and gaming communities.
Renovi HUB serves as a portal to Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 immersive in-game advertising. Through our platform, we’re reshaping the gaming landscape by:
- Seamlessly connecting brands and gamers
- Creating immersive in-game advertising solutions
- Offering advanced measurement tools for advertisers
- Developing tailored experiences for players
Our journey also involves developing a fully commercially viable product, collaborating with numerous gaming platforms and blockchains, and introducing our very own Unity SDK, with the Unreal SDK following soon after.
Renovi HUB will empower brands to advertise in the gaming sector while providing deep access to in-game analytics, enabling them to track, monitor, and adapt their ads.
Our mission is clear: to lead in the in-game advertising and video game monetisation industry while bridging the gap between the gaming sector and advertisers.
This move represents our natural progression and will undoubtedly build significant value into Renovi, positioning us favourably for our token launch when the market conditions align. We are currently in discussions with several game studios, as well as various advertising agencies and brands, so stay tuned for further updates.
